What happened to that new book?

A short story in the life of self-published author

So what’s it like to be a self-published author trying to get a new book to print (or e-distribution)? I will not bore you with the minutiae, but in short, the platform I chose has an issue with the layout that I wanted. Some things are just out of your control. Yes, I got caught up in some work on my house among others things, but none of these are really excuses. It has been fun arranging some music for the Christmas season; I don’t get to do that much. All of this is just how life goes some days. But I do have some good news to share!

Thank you to all who participated in the book cover contest for the new book! Your feedback was very helpful and so I am proud to share with you now the new cover. I hope to complete publishing so that it’s available by January at the latest. No one else has seen this yet, so go tell your friends that you know something they do not. Let me know what you think!
